Climate Collaborative Is Home. Now’s the Time to Join OSC.

One Step Closer, Together. Turning intelligence and connection into action.

Ten years building toward this

Ten years ago, a handful of purpose-driven companies decided climate work couldn’t wait for someday. That decision became Climate Collaborative. Since then it’s built a Climate Leaders Circle, a community of practice for regenerative agriculture, and an annual gathering built and an annual gathering built on inspiring progress rather than talk. The 2026 Climate Leader Awards were the clearest marker yet of how far that work has come.

Now it’s time to go deeper. That’s always been the approach here: progress built inside a community centered on trust, not transactions. The companies doing the work deserve more than recognition. They deserve capability building, real resourcing, and peers who can help them go further, faster.

Climate Collaborative is home

This year, Climate Collaborative became part of One Step Closer (OSC)

OSC already runs two collaboratives built the same way, by practitioners, for practitioners: one on packaging and circularity, one on inclusion, diversity, equity, and justice (JEDI). Climate Collaborative becomes the third leg, and the picture members have been asking for finally holds together: people, planet, and circularity, under one membership.

Everything you’ve counted on continues. Climate Day continues, with OSC’s focus on community at its heart and collective action at its core. The Climate Awards continue. The Regenerative Transition Community of Practice continues, still led by the people who built it. The programming you count on all year continues. And now it sits inside a bigger platform: three collaboratives, one community, one membership that opens all of it.

What’s already moving

The clearest proof of what this bigger platform looks like lands November 10, with Regen Ag: Substance Over Aspiration. Between 2023 and 2026, the share of major food companies with quantified regenerative agriculture targets fell from 35% to 28% (FAIRR, June 2026), even as retailer and investor pressure to back up climate claims keeps climbing. This session puts that gap in front of the people closing it: Beatriz Daim (Tradin Organic), Robbe Verhofste (Adams Group), and Stephen Hohenrieder (Grounded Capital), with Jeff Bos (Seedstone) previewing the next Regenerative Community of Practice cohort. Register here. Open to the whole industry, not just OSC members.

It’s one entry on a growing 2027 calendar. Climate Day and the Climate Awards return to Expo West. Ripple Fest returns as OSC’s other signature annual gathering. The Regenerative Community of Practice opens its next cohort. More Collaborative-led programming is taking shape behind the scenes, across packaging, climate, and JEDI alike. If 2026 was about proving the model holds, 2027 is about doing more of it, together.

Climate Day, now under OSC’s roof

Climate Day is one of the clearest examples of what coming home actually means in practice. OSC now stewards Climate Day 2027 at Expo West, Resource Fair included, and content submissions are already open. If you’ve got a session, a story, or a speaker worth putting on stage, the submissions window is open through November 13. See what’s ahead.

The Climate Awards continue too, recognizing the companies doing the real work. Adams Group’s 2026 win for regenerative agriculture is exactly the kind of proof this community was built to produce. We’re finalizing the specific member benefits for Climate Day now, with details coming soon, alongside Ripple Fest as OSC’s other signature annual gathering.

The Regenerative Community of Practice, cohort four

The Regenerative Transition Community of Practice is moving under OSC’s roof too, still led by the people who built it: Jeff Bos and Courtney Pineau. The program is entering its fourth cohort, backed by the UNFI Foundation, with past cohorts drawing leaders from companies including Aurora Organic Dairy, Clif, Sweetgreen, and UNFI itself. OSC members enjoy a 25% discount program fee. Apply here.

Join us, before the rate goes up

All of this sits inside OSC membership, and OSC exists because its members show up for each other first.

Nature’s Path, Dr. Bronner’s, Oatly, Alter Eco, Lundberg Family Farms, Guittard, Numi, and Adams Group are just some of the purpose-driven brands already building this with us. You belong right alongside them.

Dues are going up in 2027. Join or renew before November 24, two days before Thanksgiving, and you lock in today’s rate.

Membership was never just the programming calendar. It’s systems change work no single company can do alone, practical skills and peer learning you can use the next day, and a network of people who’ve already solved the problem you’re stuck on.

There’s more than one way in. Join as a member. Partner with us on a program. Sponsor Climate Day, Ripple Fest, or the Awards. Already a member? This is the moment to renew and lean back in.
