One Step Closer To Zero Waste

How It Works

In our first portion of the campaign which kicks off January 1st, we hope to empower individuals across the globe to be part of the solution to plastic pollution. We will share resources and ideas to reduce single-use plastic waste, share calls to action and policy platforms that are driving forward infrastructure development around plastics and packaging, and tell stories of the brands who are actively engaged in reducing their plastic footprint.

Zero waste champions will be able to interact with the campaign through the sharing of social and blog posts, webinars, volunteer events, calls to action, policy engagements, and more. Engage with your favorite brands during the month of January, and share your zero waste living tips using the hashtag #1SteptoZeroWaste

Individual Call to Action

• Fill out and share this BINGO card, which includes fun zero waste activities like supporting your local zero-waste store using tools like Litterless.
• Join a community cleanup – we’ve got a few mapped out below all around the United States!
• Check out this Zero Waste Home Guide to guide you on your own zero waste journey!
• Incorporate some of these simple 100 Zero Waste Tips into your daily routine.
• Peruse zero/low waste shopping platforms like Grove Collaborative, Earth Hero, Package Free Shop for staple every day items.
• Familiarize yourself with your local recycling guidelines to help minimize recycling stream contamination.
• Start composting in your own backyard to reduce your own food print!
• Get inspired by these creative, zero waste creations!
• Participate in Nude Foods’ 21 Day Zero Waste Challenge
