“5 in 5” with 18 Rabbits’ Alison Bailey Vercruysse

We recently sat down with Alison Bailey Vercruysse from 18 Rabbits for our first installment of “5 in 5”, where OSC2 members take 5 minutes to reflect on 5 simple questions. Alison joined OSC2 in the fall of 2013, and has been an active member ever since.

OSC2: What’s your hometown?
ABV: Dallas, Texas

OSC2: What’s one thing most people don’t know about you?
ABV: I paint canvases for our walls at home, design furniture and design Heath tile patterns for whatever room of our house it makes sense.

OSC2: What’s a favorite childhood memory of food?
ABV: Going out for Tex-Mex when I was growing up at least 3 times per week. I still could eat Tex-Mex every day… if it was sustainable sourced of course! My college all night snack was Sopapillas and Dr. Pepper – more like crash food really!

OSC2: What’s one thing that keeps you up at night?
ABV: The to do list in my head for 18 Rabbits: making more of the best quality granola and bars… then how to increase sales… then re-directing because I’m not supposed to worry about the HOW – just focus on the goal!

OSC2: Ice Cream, Frozen Yogurt or Gelato?
ABV: Bi-Rite ice cream – Banana Split with Balsamic, Strawberry and Chocolate
